Radial rear tires enhance the ride a lot
Watch for front axle spacing. There are two widths
Teejet plumbing
T or V tank
Need to tint the windows and run without the recirc filter for ac to work well
Low is 12.4 mph iirc
High is 18.2
I put 3200 hrs in 11 yrs on a new one I bought in 2002
They're simple, brown box display is dated unless upgraded, very few were autosteer. 4x4 kit was available aftermarket. Not too good in the mud. Boom cables were a weak spot and get caught when not looking and bend the inner boom like a banana.
My 6700 will do around 9.7 in low. IR radial tires will improve ride even more than standard radial tires. 6500’s had Hardi, every 6700 I’ve been around had TeeJet with mounting brackets from Deere. 6700’s had an accumulator on the boom lift cylinder, 6500’s did not. Brakes like to be used regularly or not at all. They are disk and the calipers will stick and drag if not used often. Hp was bumped up a little on the 6700’s.
