| The cath is more of an annoyance than anything. They sent me home with a big bag for overnight and a leg bag that you can strap to your leg under your pants.
I wore the leg bag home, and wore the big bag the rest of the week. I just stayed at home, I was recovering from surgery and it was winter, so it wasnt bad to stay in for a week. I had sweats that buttoned up the side, so I could run the cath out the side, and I carried the bag around in a bucket, made it easier to carry and in case it leaked (it never did).
I didnt like the feel of the bag strapped to my leg, I only wore it out in public to go to and from the drs office. Also I didnt have to empty the big bag as often. I had my cath removed after one week. didnt hurt when they pulled it. It felt a little wierd is all | |
