Must have been. Dad had our Deere dealer put a turbo on the 71, 4020 in 76. It always had and still has the stock oil pan. We couldn't keep it from over heating and that finned pan was suggested. We tried a custom radiator with another row of tubes and more aggressive fan but to no avail.
