Grazed oats off the field and burnt it down and notill 15 in Milo back into it.
Turned dry and took a couple weeks to sprout and get going and chemical to hold grass back never activated.
So got Milo about 12 inches tall with some grass.It was going to go for silage anyway but just was wondering if any danger in letting cows have it now.
Plant some millet after they are done.


Thought the old adage was 45 days or 40 inches or something?

Your risk is that they eat the sorghum preferentially vs the foxtail or whatever grass it is
