Subject: RE: Heads up on cloths dryer vents

NW Washington
Those flimsy plastic flexible vent tubes are a no-no that can be a real lint catcher and fire hazard. Some dryer vents are too long too, which really slows things down and causes problems. I had to have an inline booster fan installed in our dryer vent because it was too long of a distance from the dryer to the outside wall. The fan comes on automatically and shuts off 5 minutes after the dryer quits.
