I would be very concerned about a Dr. that isn't worried about an 8.9 PSA test. Everyone I know who had a number anywhere near that number was found to have prostate cancer. A digital exam is the first follow up to a PSA score. My family doctor puts a lot more emphasis on the blood test than the finger.
