Subject: Dairy calves -Jersey x Charolais cross

I've been offered some jersey Charolais cross bottle calves. Any one have experience with them? Been feeding Holstein and Holstein Angus, typically give 2 feeds of 2qts ea of 20/20 is that enough for the jersey? Everything I read says they need more milk in the winter but it's 80-low 90* forecast for this coming week if I took them.

I've been feeding a TMR from about 300# on to finish with the Holstein Angus. What weight do the jersey Charolais finish at? Do they need a whole corn (basically no roughage) like a stein or can you grow em up a bit with hay? Is 16-17 months birth to finish pretty common or what can I expect?

Appreciate the insight.
