Subject: Pumping water from creek with steep bank

SE Nebraska
Hi all, I’m daydreaming about adding some irrigation. Groundwater on this site is very limited. But we have a creek with fairly consistent and fairly plentiful flow. The issue….the creek bank is pretty deep and steep It’s probably about 15’ deep. Any brilliant ideas how to get water up and out of the creek bed? I really only have access to one side of the creek since the other side is another owner. So putting any sort of structure across the creek to suspend a pipe or pump is probably out of the question. Help me scheme here….

Thanks
