Cen Ks | A few years ago there were a couple of guys doing ammonia on growing wheat in East Central Ks. I think they had a Blue Jet or DMI rig with large single disk openers. If I recall correctly, the machines were step up for liquid and/ or Ammonia. At that time they were drilling wheat no till behind corn. From what I was told it worked great, almost no soil disturbance. Its been 10-15 years ago, don't know if they still use ammonia on growing wheat or not. | |
