SE Iowa | I just sell to a local neighbor that has quite a few cows and very little to no hay of his own, mostly just edges and stuff that were not farming. It pays the bills and gives me a little fun money since we have the hay equipment for our own cows anyway, but I can’t help you with how to market it better. I always take a little paycut on it for convenience and time savings. He hauls it and always pays our agreed upon price and takes it all every year. Grandpa always said you’ll go broke buying or selling hay, only make what you need to feed ur own. | |
