Had a farmer friend recently pass away. Haven't even had the funeral yet and farmers are knocking at the door to buy land. The land is not for sale or rent and they knew a grandson was involved in the farm
Also talked to a neighbor and a farm he's rented for many years. Another greedy farmer went to landlord and said he would give more than current renter.
what the heck is wrong with people? if i ever retire and decide to rent out ground, those farmers that did that wouldn't have a prayer on renting my ground or buying it.
it's possible you would be quite surprised to your wife and kid's new friends they make after the funeral and who is farming or buying your land. |
