southern MN | I find the new full set of arrows along with normal stop lights create a very confusing state in my state. We have solid arrows, flashing arrows, arrows that change very quickly from one option to a dupifferentboption. All the while you are supposed to,be watching for cross traffic and pedestrians.
So do you watch the arrows, or the traffic? Can’t watch both fast enough now the way they change those arrows. An arrow will go from green to yellow to a flash of red to flashing yellow, then back to red, if you aren’t watching the arrow you don’t know what it was and what it is now. With the regular round lights right beside doing different colors so you can’t rely on peripheral vision.
But if you watch the arrow that close you don’t know what the traffic is doing.
Overcomplicated.
