| I skipped a couple years and went from 2 to 12. Even then it took several months before I started radiation,had to see urologist,,get mri, have biopsy,have cat scan to check lymph nodes, had to take special meds. The mri was to give them the exact location of the cancer,,the biopsy wasn't that bad,a gun with a retractable needle was inserted then turned to shoot thru the rectum wall into the prostate ,they did that 12 times in less than 10 minutes 7 of 12 were cancerous,but were slow growing,so I went thru radiation versus surgery.
Had a relative that was operated on and he was only down a few days,,,
The worst part was waiting a month between the various appointments,,,,ev ery time you had an ache or pain you wondered what it was,, | |
