Hooker Twp,Ne | We have better luck with liberty in corn than in beans. Maybe it’s because of the sooner app and canopy. Beans we use high rate of liberty and enlist both. Along with 25( yes 25) gallons of water. And for some reason or another, some days it just works better then other days. I’m not a big fan of the enlist. But it’s the only 2-4-d product we are allowed at this time. Reminds me of amine. Dad would go to elevator to get some 2-4-d to spray a couple corn fields with waterhemp ( keep in mind this was back in the late 50s-60s timeframe) and they would give him amine. Would just piss the waterhemp off. Then next time it was 2-4- d ester. Now that would kill the waterhemp. My feeling are that this is what we are dealing with now. I can spray around the place with 2-4-d LV and it seems to get the waterhemp just fine. My two cents worth. | |
