So, I got 22 acres that were initially no tilled, prior to huge rains and extreme deer pressure. Ended up with poor almost nonexistent stand and lots of weed pressing. Decided to work the ground and ran a Brillion roller over it. When it dries out I’m gonna plant it at around 300K population, with Pioneer 4.6Flex. Was gonna plant it today but got another .5” yesterday evening.

local reps suggest, and I tend to agree, planting over 180k with most varieties, even this late, tends to lead to too much competition resulting in vegetation instead of pods. Drilled or planted? Spacing?
