I watch the 3D nozzles work and it seems to me they provide much better coverage than "straight down" nozzles. 

Used them on fungicide/insecticide corn/beans in '23 & use them in corn post herbicide app.

My view is that the big broad leaves of corn will catch or divert droplets of straight down nozzles, while the "angled nozzles" (3D) will get under the leaf canopy & continue downward. But, that's just what I see. No testing proof.

I also think there are as many "correct" nozzles as there are applicators. We all think we use the correct one. Who knows?
