You can run a number of chemicals through a pivot. In my experience, the limiting factor was product labeling and the resulting pH of the water+product. We used to run sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid in various concentrations with a resulting pH of about 6.5 (our water started at 8.3 pH).

We also ran malathion through a pivot as insect control.
