Usually will be at least 2 # heavier than taking standing. Also no green stuff in your sample. I always swathed when 1/2 the grain kernel's turned yellow. I liked to swath in the morning also. I usually just blocked the crusher rolls open on a 1014 Hesston as it would help pull them through. they only need to lay long enough for the green stuff to wilt.
