NWMO | You very well could be right. Even still, the money is then tied up in an asset, and when times get tight cash on hand is important. The older generation taught me that there were many who appeared 10’ tall and bulletproof in 1978/79 and were out of farming by 1983/84. We all know what happened of course, but many of those folks did really well in the 70’s but over leveraged themselves going into the 80’s. Many on this site lived through it and know more about hard times then I could pretend to understand, but I’m just sharing an insight that may prove relevant again soon | |
