I've never read a obituary that said they wished they would have vacationed less or worked more. We take as many as we can . Some are a weekend, some are a week ,some are 3 or 4 days. We have a big family and great neighbors that help with all aspect of chores when we are gone. I'm always quick to say yes when any of them are gone or need help so it works out well. Back when we milked cows it was alot trickier but we usually made it work. Our big family vacation every August at a lake resort is the most looked forward thing every year. 50+ family members. My grandparent's went there for there honeymoon. Grandma is 95. I'm 45 and have only missed 1 year when I was small. Some of my best memories of my life have been made on this trip.
