Could be worse than sardines. We have a good friend in Copenhagen that loves his Anchovies. He will take a spoon of sardines and top it with an anchovies and eat it.

I have a little can of anchovies on the shelf I have not had the guts to open and try it. They are probably past the "best by" date. Wonder if aged anchovies are better??? LOL
