Who’s going to check in on you when you’re old a feeble?   Who’s going to be that second set of ears for doctors appointments?  Who’s plowing snow or taking care of your yard when you can’t?   Who are you making your Life Alert contacts when that time comes?     Those folks should get a larger piece of the pie.    Equal isn’t necessarily fair.   


Unless you have more going on than you’re letting on 60 is far from old not sure how much I’d worry about it at  this point.   A lot can change as your age and that will make the water much less murky.   If you have a niece you’re closer with and trust give her power to make medical decisions in the event you can’t otherwise I’d see what unfolds.
