| Will the old well adequately supply the house? If so leave the house/old well as a separate system with the new well dedicated to the livestock. You probably just hook the new well into the existing livestock water line at the nearest point possible. Put a shut off valve on the existing line between house and livestock if there isn’t one already. That way you can back feed either the house or the livestock with either well if need arises. | |
