First I hope you are using at least 1 1/4" line to at least the middle water, 1 1/2" would be better. I like the idea of both pumps on the same pressure switch along with the loop, with curb stops or just plumbing the new well into the far end of present system. Each well feeding the opposite end basically. But I'm spending your money.
