N.W. Ohio | I agree. There is definitely a group on here that wants to hear nothing about crops having issues around the country. I prefer to read the posts and develop my own opinions. The original poster obviously had been through a wide area and has some knowledge about what good crops look like. I’ve been no further than 50 miles, so I have no idea what things look like elsewhere in the corn belt. But I’ll say this, and of course Ohio doesn’t account for much, my area in NW Ohio isn’t going to help much to offset problems elsewhere. We’ve had a rough start to the year with to much rain as well. Many many soybeans look pathetic. Corn is so so, with some 5-6 ft tall. But some not much over knee high. Central and Southern Ohio might be a completely different story with tremendous crop, I honestly don’t know. Next several months will decide the outcome, as it does every year.
