I would leave it alone. I have had stands in the fifties make in the fifties. I have also started over on some of those stands before and it cost more than the gain so never again. Only if there are some really big holes would I patch it in but if the holes are less than 10 percent I would not worry. Sometimes it just is what it is. Beans are really good at branching out.
