central il | this was an 854, if i recall correctly the dickey john manifold i replaced had a blocking valve, a relief valve and flow control valve. if the new pwm valve includes a relief valve, the hydraulic plumbing is drop in. the electrical on 854 had 4 wires to dj manifold (2 for flow control valve and 2 for blocking valve), i used the blocking valve wires to control a relay to open/close the pwm flow control valve circuit (this allowed the pump to be turned on/off using the factory switches (remote and cab)). the trimble field iq was reconfigured for pwm valve after the conversion. the response and stability of gpa was much better, i should have done it sooner | |
