Oregon | The 9770 is the 8400 of Deere combines. It's not that certain models that came along after it were not better in various ways - it's that it is so much better than everything BEFORE it that gave it a stand-out reputation.
It is in a completely different league than the 9600. But reconditioning is not cheap, and at those hours, it all depends on the prior owner.
If you are serious about the deal, pay for a dealer inspection and get a budget for reconditioning together. That way, you'll know exactly what you are getting into cost wise.
