South Western, IL | We loved our 11 model 9770. It was a great machine and ran a Deere 35ft Draper and 8 row head very well. It of course wasn’t perfect and we did have a few issues with it over the years but they are fairly simple to work on.
The only 2 things that are kind of a pain is the moisture sensor in the grain tank. It can get junk in it and bind the motor and then it will go out. This can lead to the machine not reading moisture and yield at all.
Putting a new one in isn’t a bad job but the dealer has to come and program it.
We had a turbo actuator go bad as well. Again not a bad job at all but dealer has to come program the new one.
We really liked ours paired with the 35 ft Draper even in very good tough beans.
Overall we loved that machine and we hated to get rid of it but the time was right.
It stayed local and the guy who has it loves it as well.
It will be way more combine than the 9600 in beans no doubt.
