Holly Hill, SC | Yes, mainly communication, lack of resources to promptly start working on my broken machine, and have the vision to see problems and solutions. But I have some sympathy for the dealers considering how difficult (or at least in this area) to find hardworking, smart mechanics/technicians. I am not sure what the exact agreement is between Mother Case and the dealers, but these dealers can not be expected to check every weld, every hose, every adjustment when it simply should be right the first time on the assembly line by people trained to do a specific task correctly. How can a dealership be profitable if most of their time is spend fixing defective equipment under warranty claims when Mother Case does not pay full rate for time? If am too big an A$$hole to the service department how is that going to work for me in the future when I need advice or service performed in a timely manner. Also this combine showed up to the dealer 3 months late from estimated delivery. Dealer had it for I think 4 weeks before they finally gave it to me. I was already 3 days into corn harvest with my other machine. Whoever these regional Case IH reps are, they need to do better to satisfy the dealer with minimal hoops to jump thru and ultimately do what is right for the customer. | |
