Subject: RE: Severe power hop Deere 8300!

Thank you all very much first of all for taking time out of all farming demands from us to offer up your knowledge! We started out with 18psi on all tires and front duals on. Power hop. Took all but 5 weights off the front. Power hop. Aired up fronts, power hop. Took front duals off, much worse power hop. I completely agree, all that weight in back can’t be normal, it was set up for silage packing so I know there’s that. Deere says it came with 46 rubber in back, but rolling circumference on the sizes it has now is an exact replacement so they say it’s good, but heck it could be completely wrong! Is there a way to check front gear ratio as if it has been replaced with a different ratio at some point without tearing front end all apart? Deere says they all came with same gearing and it shouldn’t be a problem.
