Holly Hill, SC | Definingly no bending over backwards. Combine was delivered July of 2022. I think strikes, new workers, post covid, and parts shortages caused issues. Mother Case does not properly reimburse the dealer for warranty work. Warranty is a joke. One year and technically have to drive it to the dealer for every problem. Owner responsible for shipping charges on parts. (overnight delivery for unload auger gearbox that seized due to no oil) Mother Case definitely does not care about me and the hours of labor and downtime caused by a poorly assembled machine. Lots of shoulder shrugs with things I thought could be a problem in the future. (shaking shafts, noisy elevator, nasty goo dripping from my unloader spout, 2 way farm radio causing CAN bus issues, feeder chain jumping teeth on sprocket................ I have written two letters, one concerning all the deficiencies in the Pro 700 monitor (main issue being lack of notification on shaft speed sensors (multiple times the rotor was not properly in gear due to linkage adjustment or just jumped out) and one letter concerning mechanical issues. No response from the regional Case rep.
You mentioned issues with tractors during this time. My dealer had two brand new front MFWD axles in crates ready to but on two tractors because the tractor axles where delivered without oil. Same time frame as my combine.
Photos are one example of shoulder shrug. Two square holes were allowing grain to get in the plastic piece below the auger. Put two small carriage bolts in these holes fixed the problem.
