But anyways I would like to remind you to check your cloths dryer vents once and a while. We bought a new dryer 6 years ago and did not check the vent since we bought it. Last night my wife smelled something burning and it was the dryer that had overheated and had ruined the wiring and timer and just about started the house on fire. At first I thought it was just a dryer that had malfunctioned but when I pulled it out and took the vent off it was just about totally plugged with lint the whole way and was the cause of it overheating. I think from now on I will pull off the dryer vent and clean it out or replace the flex pipe if needed every year.
