East Central, Nebraska | a digifarm beacon 3.0 (fmx) will plug right into the port expander. i have no knowledge of the new beacon but i am sure it works similar. as stated above you can plug a usb wifi dongle into the display and use the vrs plugin to get data into the display also. an unlock is required. i tried this putting on nh3 in the spring and did not have very good luck. i was using an ipad as a hotspot and it kept dropping out. i assume it was the fault of the ipad but not sure. i ended up plugging a beacon into the port expander and it worked flawlessly, ironically using the same exact ipad.
