A gentleman within 10 miles of my house lost both legs welding on a tractor rim. It has been several years and I don’t remember all the details but best I can remember, he did unseat the bead, welded on the rim. He nearly died and lost both legs.

Please do NOT weld on rims that have tires mounted.
