Subject: 300 psi?????

Pittsburg, Kansas

Did I read the pressure right on the second link? I thought I saw nearly 300 psi when the tire or rim or whatever gave way.

I'm guessing that is above recomended pressure. Why am I not surprised something blew up?

I have heard of a guy putting a chuck on a combine front tire and since the compressor was small just locked the chuck on and did other stuff. forgot and went to lunch or something. Tire went kafluey and did some pretty good damage to combine. Or so I am told. I never saw it.
