Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | For years, I had a mixture of fields with good boundaries, fair boundaries and no boundaries since they are not strictly required. This year due to an open Winter, my Great Nephew took the planting tractor without the planteer that uses an InCommand 1200 and GPS 7500 unlocked and subscribed to Terra Star Pro C. He had the time to make accurate boundaries of each field. I believe it was worth the effort.
Having good boundaries for each field seems to eliminate the occasional "oops" of various kinds. Since much of our land borders each other, there are times when what was two fields in the past in now considered one field. I realize it is possible to have two different crops within the same field but just thought it better to keep the fields separate by crops. It may be necessary to do this now that the fields are combined together as one with the current boundary arrangement. |
