Subject: Raven 450 controller mapping with JD 4640

West Central MN
We have a 90' Fast sprayer controlled by a Raven 450 6 boom rate controller. Last year I bought a JD 4640 monitor to do auto steer and mapping on the JD 8100 sprayer tractor and for the JD 9770 combine. We were either leaving the mapping on the whole time or shutting it on and off on the screen as we sprayed last year. I read that there was a cable that would allow the mapping to turn on and off with rate controller on the JD4640, or so I thought. I got the cable, and the JD tech pinned the harness. The JD4640 recognizes the Raven 450 but will not turn on and off the mapping as we spray. Am I missing something, or did I misunderstand what I was trying to do? I had talk to a neighbor during the winter and they said that they had a sprayer setup this way, but it was with a JD 2630 screen not the JD 4640. Anyone have any ideas if I missed something? Local Deere dealer sold me the cable and gave me instructions and I followed them and seems I did everything correctly.

Thanks in advance!
