Subject: RE: Ag leader steering on hagie sts 12 adjustment

EC Illinois / WC Indiana
We have been battling Ag Leader steering on an 2012 STS 12 new to us this season. Tried the new “hall” effect wheel angle sensor instead of the potentiometer with minimal success.
Symptoms were very similar to yours it would track offline, wiggle, wander.

I installed an in-line potentiometer yesterday following a tip my dealer got from another dealer from Iowa. Went out to the CRP today and calibrated it. Seems like it did a great job but will reserve judgement until I actually get into the crop and spray. Mainly like it for a second pass on the ends when going across the rows.

CRP wasn’t exactly smooth. Ran 13mph seemed to stay within 3” either way of the line with most of the steering settings near default “10”.

Steer command not Z2, incommand 1200, hydraulic steering valve, RTK signal.
