Subject: RE: 4840 on 90 inch spacing

East Central Arkansas
For 38 inch rows which used to be pretty well standard here in cotton country 76 is the normal. We bed ground and use spacers for the duals making them out to 152 inch centers. We use some extremely heavy 3 pt implements as in all a 4840 3 pt will pick up. Have to have the front end of tractor weighed very heavy. Rear tires need at least 20 psi. I normally run like 2 psi less in outside dual. I think you will be fine. The width and weight of the boom does make a difference in the rocking back and forth. That looks like a lighter duty quick hitch though. If something your not hooking and unhook in from you can hook up without the quick hitch and make a difference. When I ran our 76 foot 3 pt boom I would run the duals early season doing burndown. We used saddle tanks on the tractor.
