Fairfield County, Ohio, USA | The thing that puzzles me is that even if the GPS signal is blocked -- as in the receiver can't read the signals from the satellites -- that shouldn't have an impact on the receiver reporting on-time (Hz) and definitely not on subscription status. That sounds like a serial communication fault. Which would leave, maybe:
1) InCommand serial comms fault. (But you've tried a different InCommand.)
2) GPS 7500 serial comms fault. (But you've tried a different receiver.)
3) Serial cable fault. (But you've tried a different display cable and GPS cable.)
4) Voltage issue. (But you've tried a different battery.)
5) Interference on the serial bus. Seems relatively unlikely to me, on a tractor.
6) InCommand has some software problem. Are you on the latest software version?
This feels really strange.
