Subject: RE: Ag Leader Incommand 1200 with 7500 steady steer gps error

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I have some very similar setups using both Steady Steer and Steer Command Z2 with InCommand 1200s and a GPS 7500 unlocked and subscribed to Terra Star Pro C.

My planter tractor and planter uses several legacy Ag Leader modules and an ISO module with a Hijack cable. My combine uses an InCommand 1200 for yield monitoring and Steady Steer for steering in soybeans. I use the Steady Steer motor with a Headsight feeler system in corn. This year I purchased the Turn Path unlock and it was used for planting. All these combinations worked well.

I have not experienced the loss of GPS that you mention. Even during the periods of the predicted Sun Spot problems our systems continued to operate normally which I believe was due to a combination of good luck of timing as to when we were using them.

It sounds as if you have swapped out virtually all you components and cables. One thing that is different for you this year besides the Solar Flare problem is the addition of the HiJack cable and the ISO module. Were the problems you experienced while your were using the Hijack cable and the ISO module? If so possibly the Hijack cable is causing some problem with the GPS although that seems unlikely.

Good Luck.
