KDD - 5/13/2024 20:36 Not bashing your vehicle, but you claim of no gov't subsidies??....maybe not to you directly or to GM, but huge gov't subsidies going to charging station construction, and gov't mandates to the car companies to convert to all electric vehicles by 2030-2035, or whenever. And huge tax credits going to the construction of so-called "green" power, that is a futile effort to meet the huge demand that would be created by charging a full national fleet of EVs. I'm sure its a good vehicle, and certainly EVs have their place. But having them forced on everyone by using huge amounts of our tax $ is just wrong. If they're such a good thing, the marketplace will sort it out. I see your point.. What I meant is that I paid full msrp of a bit over $28,000 before the $7500 tax credit went into effect on Jan1 2023. I received no direct rebate or whatever you want to call it. As for the rest of your comment about tax credits going to "green" power, do you have any idea of the incredible tax credits and tax $$ that have gone to oil and gas companies over the years? As far as "the marketplace will sort it out", then should we let the Chinese sell their low cost EVs in the USA and let the marketplace sort that out?
