HRS Mn Rothsay Last week July first week August , depends on weather

Always wondered why spring wheat over winter wheat? Hard winters have a lot to do with it? Don’t know anything about it except we cut a lot of it in ND and it was a 3 week wait until it was ready to cut so we sat and did nothing except tinker on the combines and have fun.

We have a small canola trial at work now. Planted in late November. Not sure what their thinking is on southern canola but all the major companies are trying it so we joined in. I’ve never been around it before.

Not much wheat here in Arkansas this year. A few guys always go big in it. Depends on the rain in the winter and drainage but we’ve hit 100 before but usually 60-70 is a super good average.
