Funny when it is dry, forecasters can predict rain, nothing. In a wet cycle, a 1/2” predicted is almost a guaranteed 1” or more. Here we are in a wet cycle. Next week looks to light rains but very fact that they have rain in forecast means it will be wet. We have had nice rains but our drainage systems are full so will take awhile to get back in the fields after it drys up. Hopefully building up subsoil moisture for late summer.
Definitely how it has worked “here” also.
