The reality is it would have taken me longer than it did them to look up the part numbers, and my time is worth something as well.
That’s true but my time gets pretty cheap when it’s something I can do and when I’m getting screwed my time gets even cheaper . I do all my parts looking at night I usually know ejst projects I’m doing and what I should need so i don’t need to do it during the busy times doesn’t always work that way but that’s what I try to do . No way will I ever do business with anyone with that mentality . Send them a bill for gas wear and tear and depreciation on your outfit and pay the kids wages both times he had to go back for the parts and don’t forget the extra time the machine was down while you waited for the parts . |
