| If it were my shop I would mark the parts up enough to cover the cost involved in carrying them and selling them.
I just bought a seal kit from Deere for 210$. Went to local hydraulic shop and got seals for the other cylinder for 80.
The guy running the shop has bought the seals, been sitting on them for a certain amt of time, has cost in keeping them in inventory. I would figure those cost and mark them up accordingly whether it’s 20 or 30%. But I wouldn’t put it on the customers invoice as labor. | |
