One thing I notice when using Google Chrome is that if you try to load AT from a tab that currently has another program open, then the "time out" thing will happen. I can make it happen right now.

But, if you go to one of the vacant, not-yet-open tabs, and click on AT, it opens almost immediately after the quick verification process. I demonstrated that to a family member today that said he couldn't get AT to load and often had the same problem at home. I went to his computer & told him to "X out" of one of the tabs that had a (any) program open and then click on AT icon. He was amazed at how quickly it loaded.

I don't mean that you have to close all tabs, just try & load AT from a fresh tab, which shows on my computer as "New Tab".
