Around here , the chem dealers work with the air applicators and try to arrange everyone's acres to be more efficient.
Has become sort of a necessary evil. But very easy to figure out who didn't use it in a dry year. The fungus applied fills the space before the bad fungus can occupy it.
I have heard of ground application with a N blend, but has to be a tall spreader. | |
