We do 50 Lb/acre on 7.5 no problem but I'd be warry to go higher than that. Heavy clay ground 30+ CEC. Timac Agro makes a phosphorus product that is supposed to be safer for in furrow and more available than map however it's about 30% more per tonne (metric tonne in CAD at least) and a lower analysis than MAP so i haven't had to balls to try it myself or recommend it to customers.
